Dragon Boat Festival

 Today is Dragon Boat Festival,
 the Lunar May 5.
 This is an important holiday.
 I use a simple way to keep the traditions and customs,
 Prepared some steamed rice dumplings for pray.

 Everywhere sold lemongrass and Wormwood  in the market.
 I also bought some.





Wormwood hanging on the doors will be used to ward off evil.




Boiled lemongrass in a large pan,
for my family to add in bath water,
to eliminate some annoying mosquitoes and heat...





We will go to Bitan  to watch the Dragon Boat Races afternoon.
Dragon boat races to commemorate the historical figures into the river
suicide  of Qu Yuan.

Many people  do not know meaning of this holiday,
only as a leisure activity.........
